our

ministries

Once we become followers of Jesus, our next step is to grow in our faith.

Whether you're a toddler or a senior adult, our ministry environments provide settings where you can learn and where you can serve.  Participating and serving in these ministries are the best way to make Gray feel like your home.

g.r.o.w. children's ministry

We at Gray UMC endeavor to come alongside parents in helping them grow their children into a life of faith! By partnering with parents, our hope is that we are able to give our children a firm foundation of faith that grows with them as they become disciples of Jesus.

We have several different worship opportunities for our children throughout the week! Click on the link to learn more about what we do in our children's ministry

Join us the first Wednesday night at 6:30pm each month. Our morning group meets at 10am the third Tuesday . We have fun working together and planning ways to help others in our community. senior adult ministry

We have an active senior adult ministry led by our Care Pastor, Chris Smarr. The Happy Hearts meet for lunch on the second Monday of the month at 12:00. They also take trips & outings every 4th Thursday of the month. There is always plenty of fun, games, laughs, and good eats!

We have a dedicated visitation ministry for those who are at home or in the hospital. We strive to make sure that all of our members who are at home, in the hospital, assisted living, or in a nursing home are visited each month.

If you haven't been visited in a while and would like a visit with either Pastor Jason Dillard or Pastor Chris or you would like to inform the church staff of a loved one who is in the hospital and needs a visit, please contact Chris at 478.447.2379 or the church office at 478.986.3668.

impact youth ministry

We believe that God has called us, in partnership with parents, to provide a youth ministry so young people can grow in their Christian faith. We strive for every youth to be positive that God loves them and has a good plan and purpose for their lives. Our hope is to inspire them by our example and challenge them to take faith-filled risks. Through teaching and discipleship, our goal is to spark in each youth a passion for Jesus Christ, for his church, for the needy, and for the lost.

men's ministry

F.I.G.H.T Club is a Wednesday night men's group that has grown by leaps and bounds since it's beginning 2 years ago. It is a fellowship and accountability group for men of any age or background- both in our church and community. It is not a Bible study, but rather a discussion group that helps men apply the teachings of Jesus Christ to their everyday lives.

Please note that our Wednesday night activities are currently on break. We will resume activities on

January 12th.
